What does the Court’s action mean to you?

If you enrolled between the following dates TIMELINE, you are eligible to apply for borrower defense using the Department’s short “attestation form.” If you have not already applied using that form, you should consider doing so. The form is available here. You are also a member of the proposed class in the case Calvillo Manriquez v. DeVos. To learn more about that case and sign up for updates, here.

If you did not enroll during that time period, you may still have a right to have your loans discharged based on a borrower defense. If you haven’t already, consider applying for borrower defense through the Department of Education’s Universal Borrower Defense form here.
