If your first date of enrollment was between the following date(s) TIMELINE, you are eligible to apply for borrower defense using the Department’s short “attestation form.” If you have not already applied using that form, you should consider doing so. If you did not enroll during that time period, you may still have a right to have your loans discharged based on a borrower defense.
